Day 1

ARRIVAL DAY

Upon your arrival at IGI airport in Delhi, our tour representative will escort you to the pre-booked hotel. After completing check-in formalities, you can rest and afternoon you will be visiting DILLI HAAT and walk around the neighbouring streets to be familiar with the culture of Delhi before sinking into the cosiness of your bed. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

DELHI SIGHTSEEING and TRANSFER TO MANALI

Exploring Delhi’s iconic monuments and heritage sites, immersing in its flavourful culinary delights and diverse traditions, visiting landmark sacred sites, soaking in its history and culture and shopping at busy marketplaces — these are just some ways to experience the capital city, one of the most visited places not just in India, but the entire world! Our staff will bring you to the bus terminal in time for the evening bus to Manali.

Day 3

ARRIVAL IN MANALI

Altitude: 2000 m/6,550 ft Check in Hotel at Manali Briefing following lunch. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple and Vashist Kund Meal Plan: B D Accommodations: Hotel (twin sharing) You will arrive in Manali today and settle into the hotel that has been reserved for you. You will be sent the information one week in advance of the arrival date. You may go in and around Manali's popular attractions. Stay on schedule as the entire team will be gathering back at the hotel at 4 p.m. Meet the other members of your team as well as your trip leader. Your trek leader will give you a briefing on your journey, and you'll need to test your gear and confirm the sizes of your climbing boots.

Day 4

TREK TO KALGA FROM MANALI TO BARSHAINI

4 to 5-hour journey from Manali to Barshaini A half-hour journey from Barshaini to Kalga Lunch at Manikaran (Hault for 1 hr) Depart from Manali at 10 a.m. Bring your remaining luggage separately so we can leave Manali on time without spending so much time. At Kalga, networks are accessible. Stay in-home stay. The route begins in Barshaini village, which is surrounded by a dense pine forest and lush, green pastureland. After lunch, you will be travelling towards Kalga from Barshaini, with a little hiking from the gurudwara. Just a reminder that Kalga will have a mobile network.

Day 5

KALGA (2280M) to KHEERGANGA (2960M)

10 km trek: 6-7 hours Stay in a tent or nearby guesthouse. No network is accessible. Enjoy Kheerganga's hot water spring Trek by the Parvati River On the way, we'll get a lot of Maggi points. The Pin Parvati Pass trek is the best trek for every trekker in Himachal Pradesh; it combines the excitement and is sure to leave trekkers with lifelong memories. Enjoy the expansive landscapes look up close; the beauty you witness will make you understand that Himalayan Trekking is heaven; the fields of calming green will relax your eyes. With a steep ascent of more than 30 metres, the entire course will run through woodlands. From here, it will take you less time to get to your destination, which is a 10 km walk to the meadows where Kheerganga is located. The ascent will continue until you reach the point where it will take a rational V curve and you will be able to enjoy the breath-taking view of the mountains. You will pass a waterfall on the route, and the sensation of walking through the milky white water will be amazing. Later, you will come to a Maggi station where you may stop and rest. Later on, the entire route will be a more steady elevation made up of a variety of trees, including pine, oak, horse chestnut, and walnut. It will take 6 to 7 hours to traverse the 10 km from Kalga to Kheerganga.

Day 6

KHEERGANGA (2779M) to TUNDA BHUJ (3200M)

The trek will eventually take you through expansive meadows, and you'll hear birds singing the entire time, like a companion who will keep your ears amused on the third day's adventure. The trail from Kheerganga will be the first stream you cross and will begin with a steady incline for around 20 metres. When it comes to trekking in Himachal, Kheerganga is the most sought-after destination. On your walk, you will eventually encounter a bridge that spans the mountainside. After approximately 30 metres, you will pass a wooded area and enter a meadow. Kheerganga is the spiritual destination that bears Lord Shiva's name. When you open the tent in the morning and see the breath-taking view in front of you, this landscape will seem as though it is being seen through a gorgeous window. You will now be travelling through meadows as you make your way to the high peaks, where you will be at a greater height. When you reach the peak, the breath-taking vista of the Parvati Valley will take your breath away. That will be the end of your adventure to Tunda-Bhuj when you cross the final overpass and enter your destination at a height of 10,500 feet, where you will see gigantic snow-covered mountains.

Day 7

TUNDA BHUJ (3200M) to THAKUAR KUAN (3620M)

Trek Distance: 13 km hike 6-7 hrs The most stunning campground of the journey The route has some difficult terrain, therefore it is essential to travel together Meal Plan: B L D A hard climb for an hour after the challenging section Stay: Camping The fourth day will be spent trekking down from Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan, through the pastureland with the flora, and a relaxing green landscape will be the constant companion on your adventure. The Tunda-Bhuj terrain is straightforward, but the distance travelled is slightly greater since the bridge you must cross is lengthy and time-consuming. As you continue across the rocky meadow terrain, it will take you about 15 metres to reach the steep rise. Day 8

 THANKUR KUAN (3620) to ODI THACH (3815M)

Trekkers should create a group to cross the natural bridge after passing through forests and meadows. You will then enter the Thakur Kuan region, which is surrounded by pastures of orchard blossoms and relatively small trees. The path will be simple because it will be flat, so moving ahead won't require much work. Additionally, there will be several water stations where you can rehydrate before reaching Pandu Bridge, and at the end of your journey, you will arrive at Odi Thach. Day 9

ODI THACH (3815M) to MANTALAI LAKE (4096M)

Trek Distance: 12 km trek, 7-8 hours After 30 minutes from Odi Thach, a large field appears; cross it from the left side (the ground is too muddy) Just after passing that terrain, the moraine area begins. You will eventually reach the territory of the moraine, which follows the muddy track; it will be a hard slope that will demand physical effort. Therefore, it is recommended to everyone that you exercise for at least two months before commencing your walk toward the Pin Parvati Pass trek to build the essential endurance for this trek. The beginning of the Parvati River is at Mantalai Lake, and along the route, you may stop at a few nearby temples that have historical significance since the journey will be exciting and adventurous and need your decision-making during the entire journey. Day 10

 MANTALAI LAKE (4690M) to SUMMIT CAMP (4800M)

11 km trek, 7–8 hours A tiring day Almost all of it is a fairly steep ascent. There are just two water sources accessible. Keep floaters close by when the first water stream appears after 30 to 40 minutes of trekking. There is one additional stream crossing after 3 1/2 hours. Walking alone has a very high risk of being lost Meal Plan: B L D Stay: Camping The camp location is quite unpleasant; camping will take place on rocks. After seeing the breath-taking grandeur of Mantalai Lake, you will cross a river channel on the seventh day, which will be quite taxing for the day's trek. Next, you will pass over steep rocky terrain and glaciers. The seventh day will be full of adventure and demand great physical and mental conditions as both are necessary to battle the adventure. Afterwards, you will travel to the right side of the slope after following a long track for around 9 to 10 hours. It will take some time to climb mountains higher than 14,850 feet; after that, you will have to go to the campground region, where rocky terrain with steep sides will exhaust you because the entire trip will be challenging until the seventh day. After that, you will arrive at the summit campsite, which is surrounded by lush vegetation and glaciers that evoke images of heaven on earth. It would be best to have all the necessary measures, like filled water bottles and nutritious snacks to help you recover your energy, with you because the day will be exhausting. Before starting the Pin Parvati Pass journey, you need to keep up your health. Because it is a challenging graded pass trek, it is best to be ready for any uncertainties that may arise along your Pin Parvati Pass Trek. However, having fun and enjoying the breath-taking scenery can also help you feel refreshed and maintain your composure.

Day 11

SUMMIT CAMP (4800M) – SUMMIT TO  PIN PARVATI PASS (5289M) / BEDU THATCH

15 km Trek, 10–12 hours Spend no more than 15 to 20 minutes on the peak. Don't pave your path through the snow today; always adhere to the directions of the trek leader or guide (craves area) Today's descent is more challenging and taxing than the ascent. Keep floaters close by for the one stream and one river crossing, and cross with your trek leader's assistance Meal Plan: B L D Stay: Camping The campsite is one hour away after crossing the river. After taking a long break following the lengthy trek from day 1 to today, you will begin your ascent to the top on the eighth day. The path today will ascend for an hour towards the glaciers and a rock façade. This day will also be a bit exhausting as you make your way to the peak; after about three hours of arduous climbing, you will reach the top of the pass, which is 17,500 feet above sea level. From here, you can see Pin Valley's route towards Srikanth Mahadev, a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. To provide all of its trekkers with the best possible destinations, the Bike and Trek Adventure has created trails that descend into flurry and ice fields that are covered in grasses and high rocks. These rocks will connect you to nature in a real scene where there will be no traces of civilization. You will pass through a deep forest and wild terrain at this point, so exercise caution since the path will become difficult and rough. Instead, pay attention to your guide. Later as you approach the peak, you will be able to see the Himalayan ranges of Dibibokri and Kulu Makalu, which will provide you with an amazing and stunning vista because the ranges are covered in snow. Conquering the Summit will be the pinnacle of your Pin Parvati Pass trek, and the views you will see at each step will be breath-taking.

Day 12

Buffer day for Summit attempt

If the summit cannot be attempted owing to any unforeseen reasons, a buffer day will be used. The choice of a buffer day is made by the team. It is recommended that you include a buffer day in your trip itinerary. The price of a buffer day, which costs 110 euros a day, is not covered by the plan. A surcharge will be applied for the buffer day on a per-day, per-person basis. If the expedition does not need the buffer day, use it to explore Manali Buffer day is an extra day that is spent at the base camp for a summit attempt in case the weather does not allow. This day is used only when the summit is not possible as per the regular itinerary. Whether to use the buffer day or not is totally team’s decision. Fortunately, if everything goes well as per the itinerary, we can plan the day for you. We can make arrangements for other activities like Rafting, Biking, Pangong Lake visit etc.

Day 13

PIN BASE (4800M) TO TIYA (3500M)

12 km trek in 5-6 hours descending gradually a stunning campground, although windy Barren land the Bhaba Pass route is visible Meal Plan: B L D Stay: Camping Since the eighth day of your Pin Parvati Pass Trek was both gorgeous and exhausting, you should take the day off to properly recuperate and eat a satisfying meal. The next day, you will proceed towards the Tiya from Pin Base, which is around 12 Km away and involves a gentle descent. Later, you will be able to see the path of Bhabha Pass on the same road; it will initially be a desolate area surrounded by enormous mountains. Arriving at the Tiya and setting up camp in a Tiya surrounded by mountains will be breath-taking, but because you'll be at a high altitude, the temperature will drop at night. It's best to take adequate precautions by layering up so that you don't have a restless or exhausting night.

Day 14

TIYA (3500M) TO MUDH (3970) DRIVE TO KAZA (3800M)

12 km trek, 4–5 hours 25 km drive: 1 hour A flat stroll completely on the road Drive to Kaza after trekking to Mud Transportation timing may be impacted by a lack of network Meal Plan: B L D Overnight stay in Kaza (Guest house) On the tenth day, you will drive back to Kaza after walking to Mud, the final settlement in Pin Valley. This trip won't be too strenuous because it will be a flat route. It would be your second to the final day of the Pin Parvati Pass trip; on this day, you would gather all of your memories and travel back to Kaza, from which point you would continue your journey to Manali the next day.

Day 15

 KAZA (3800) AND RETURN TO MANALI

The final day has come, and you will now travel from Kaza to Manali while carrying with you the experiences of the entire Pin Parvati Pass expedition. If your transportation for returning has been arranged with us, you will depart early on the 16th morning.

Day 16

MANALI – NEW DELHI

Transfer to the bus terminal in the evening to board the Manali-Delhi bus. At this moment, the expedition comes to an end. After breakfast, you can tour Manali. Don't forget to stop by Hadimba Temple, the hot springs in Vashisht, and possibly even the Naggar Roerich Art Gallery.

SINGLE ROOM AND TENT

You may reserve a single room in New Delhi/ Manali during the trip for an extra fee of Euro 120.

A single tent for every camping night is available for an extra fee of 125 euros.

THE OFFLOADING OF BAGS

  • Offloading a backpack will cost you 75 euros and will involve a porter or mule. The bag needs to be water-resistant.  The backpack can only be 11 kg in weight. Bags, suitcases, and carts are not permitted.

Additional Information

The safety of our trekkers is our top priority in an emergency. Our Trek Leaders are skilled in dealing with medical situations, particularly those brought on by altitude. In more serious circumstances, the trekker will be taken on a stretcher as soon as possible to the closest hospital. The participant is responsible for covering any costs associated with using the medical facility.

Kaza has the last ATM point before your trek begins, here you can make your last bank transactions.

Are there going to be any water sources? Will two litters of water be sufficient?

Our tents are set up close to water sources. Two liters of water should be sufficient for your day's hike. On the hike, water sources will be available for you to fill up your water bottles. Before the day's journey begins, your trek leader will give you a briefing on these.

What happens if it rains when you're trekking?

While you're trekking, if it starts to rain, we'll carry on as planned. You should be shielded from the rain by your poncho. Carry a backpack cover to provide your stuff with additional rain protection.

Why are trekking poles required?

A trekking pole helps you maintain balance and stability while also easing tiredness.

What will the temperature be like during the trek?

What to expect?
 

A typical day of walking on a technical trek may last longer than seven hours. Eligibility

  • Age: Anyone above 15 years of age. 

  • The participant has to be in good physical condition and possess the energy to accomplish 5 km in 30 min without feeling rushed.

  • The ascent should be possible with a 12- to 16-kg back load

  • Pulse rate at rest must be in between (60-90 per second)

  • Blood pressure reading must be between (Diastolic 75-85, Systolic 100-130 Hg)

  • Respiratory rate at rest must be in between (12 – 20 breaths per minute)

  • Should not have liver and kidney issues

  • Should not have diabetes Mellitus, Asthma, Epilepsy, Heart problems, High BP

  • No pacemaker implant

  • Experience: Any high-altitude trek

  • Trekkers below 15 years should have a company of a parent / guardian

  • Trekkers between 15-18 years can come solo with the disclaimer form signed by parent/ Guardian
